About us

Baros Books is a small, specialist publisher of books on antique barometers, barographs and other meteorological instruments. Its first publication, Antique Barometers: An Illustrated Survey (1976, 2nd edn 2008) was designed to assist the small collector and to widen knowledge and appreciation of the barometer both for enthusiasts and antique dealers. Since then, further publications have covered aspects of the field in greater depth so that the current list provides a wealth of information for all those interested in this fascinating subject.
